Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Daskell SRL (“Daskell”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data collected through this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.

Data Controller: Daskell SRL, Via Giotto 28, 20145 Milano, Italy. VAT number and tax code (P.IVA / Codice Fiscale): 10609260962. REA: MI-2544663. Share capital: € 12.181,17. You can reach us regarding this policy at federico.pucci@daskell.com.

What we collect, and how

We keep data collection to a minimum. This website does not run analytics, advertising, or profiling tools, and it does not require you to create an account.

We process personal data in two situations:

  • Contact data you choose to send us. This site has no contact form and no backend that processes submissions — you reach us by email (the contact link simply opens your own email client). We receive whatever you choose to include, typically your name, email address, and message, in our mailbox.
  • Technical data from hosting. Like most websites, technical information needed to serve and secure the site — for example IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — is processed by our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), acting as our processor.
03

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract — legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To operate, secure, and maintain the website — legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe and functional service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To comply with legal obligations where applicable — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
04

How long we keep it

This website has no backend, database, or automated storage system — we do not save your data through the site. The only personal data we hold is the enquiry emails you choose to send us, which we keep in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter only as required to meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted.

Technical connection data (such as IP addresses) is processed transiently by AWS to deliver and secure the site, in accordance with AWS's own retention practices.

05

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and with authorities where legally required.

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Competent authorities, where disclosure is required by law.
06

Transfers outside the EEA

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection through an adequacy decision of the European Commission or appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses. Details of the relevant safeguards are available on request at federico.pucci@daskell.com.

07

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data; to have it rectified or erased; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time (Articles 15–22 GDPR).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at federico.pucci@daskell.com. We will respond within the timeframes set by the GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority in your country of residence.

08

Cookies

Information about the cookies and similar technologies used on this site is set out in our Cookie Policy at /legal/cookies.
